Doha: HE Head of the General Authority for Minors Affairs Saad bin Nahar Al Nuaimi emphasized that Qatar National Day is an occasion that embodies loyalty and belonging, reflecting pride in the nation’s history and achievements. The day symbolizes the enduring principles established by the founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, and serves as a reminder of the nation’s progress.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Nuaimi highlighted that the day provides an opportunity to reflect on Qatar’s developmental journey and the collective responsibility of its citizens to preserve current achievements and build a brighter future. He also discussed the General Authority for Minors Affairs’ accomplishments in 2025, which include significant milestones in governance, digital transformation, and service quality.
The authority’s participation in the Qatar Government Excellence Award for the second time underscores its commitment to excellence. It received commendation from the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau for its effective implementation of the government performance system, aligning its plans with national priorities focused on performance development and sustainability.
Operational efficiency improvements have accelerated transaction completion, reduced waiting times, and enhanced the experience of beneficiaries. In 2025, the authority welcomed over 24,372 visitors and completed more than 24,214 requests, achieving a customer satisfaction rate of 81.2 percent.
Al Nuaimi noted the expansion of the authority’s network to over 25 strategic partnerships with local institutions in education, social welfare, health, and family empowerment. These partnerships have led to 27 community programs benefiting 879 individuals, achieving a 97 percent satisfaction rate.
Digital transformation efforts include the ‘Thukhr’ application, enabling beneficiaries to manage transactions digitally. The authority’s website has become an interactive platform for services, enhancing communication and transparency. ISO certifications in quality and risk management reaffirm the authority’s commitment to operational efficiency and best practices.
The strategic focus for 2026 includes sustaining institutional excellence, enhancing smart services, and improving governance and transparency. Plans involve expanding the Thukhr application and website, launching a unified portal for beneficiaries, and integrating artificial intelligence for predictive analytics and service customization.
Al Nuaimi concluded by stressing the authority’s commitment to quality and risk management, policy updates, and business continuity. Broadened cooperation with ministries and participation in the Sharek platform are part of efforts to enhance policy and service development.
