Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE Prime Minister of Kingdom of Morocco Aziz Akhannouch over the victims of the collapse of two residential buildings in the city of Fez, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the Moroccan Prime Minister and the families affected by the tragic incident. The message conveyed Qatar’s solidarity with Morocco during this difficult time.

The collapse of the buildings in Fez resulted in a number of casualties and injuries, prompting emergency response efforts in the area. The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation by Moroccan authorities.
