His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with several public-school principals whose students achieved the highest secondary averages for the academic year 2022-2023, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s commitment to educational reforms has spurred government initiatives and programmes that strive for educational excellence across the Kingdom.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the importance of strengthening quality education for all citizens to achieve the Kingdom’s far-reaching educational goals.
His Royal Highness noted that education is a core pillar for the Kingdom’s development to build qualified professionals that meet the standards of the national labour market.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that investing in Bahraini citizens remains a top priority and that government efforts focus on educational excellence to make Bahrainis a first choice in the job market.
His Royal Highness congratulated the outstanding students in public schools and noted the diligence of the administrative and educational staff in ensuring pupils receive the best educational standards in the Kingdom.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister encouraged the schools to continue offering a respected academic and educational environment that reinforces student excellence.
His Royal Highness thanked the Ministry of Education for contributing to the development and progress of the Kingdom and its people.
His Royal Highness concluded on the importance of adopting modern technology, artificial intelligence, and innovative solutions to keep pace with global developments and enhance educational creativity, in line with the Kingdom’s educational aspirations.
For their part, the principals of the top public schools expressed their gratitude for to the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and their appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s educational development.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, and the Minister of Education, HE Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, also attended the meeting.
The staff reiterated their commitment to enhancing educational standards and student outcomes in their schools.

1. Hashimiya Al-Sayed Hassan Sharaf, the Principal of Saar Secondary Girls School
2. Fatima Ahmed Eid, the Principal of Muharraq Secondary School For Girls
3. Haifa Mohammad Qasim Bu Hammoud, the Principal of Al-Estiqlal Secondary Girls School
4. Ali Abdullah Muhammad Al-Banna, the Principal of Muharraq Secondary School for Boys
5. Yasser Ibrahim Ali Bani Hammad, the Principal of Al Hedaya Al-Khalifia Secondary Boys School
6. Ahmed Jaafar Ahmed Al-Banna, the Principal of Isa Town Secondary School for Boys
It is worth knowing that the Muharraq Secondary School for Boys ranked first among boys’ schools where students obtained the highest averages in the secondary level for the academic year 2022-2023. Al Hedaya Al-Khalifia Secondary Boys School ranked second, followed by Isa Town Secondary School for Boys. Additionally, Saar Secondary Girls School ranked first among girls’ schools, followed by Muharraq Secondary School For Girls and Al-Estiqlal Secondary Girls School.
