Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amena bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, held a work meeting with Malaysian Minister of Local Government Development, Nga Kor Ming.

Al Romaihi held the meeting on the sidelines of the two countries’ delegations’ participation in the second session of the UN-Habitat in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

The two ministers reviewed the efforts of the two friendly countries in providing housing services for citizens. They also discussed means of boosting bilateral cooperation and the exchange of expertise as well as issues to be discussed in the UN-Habitat’s meetings.

The Malaysian minister commended Bahrain’s efforts in providing housing services, stressing keenness on promoting cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
