His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (82) of 2023 restructuring the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BACA), based on the proposal of the Minister of Tourism, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

Article I

The BACA will be restructured as follows:

Chief Executive Officer of BACA (at the rank of Undersecretary), who shall oversee:

1- Tourism Supervision Directorate.

2- Policy and Planning Directorate.

3- The Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Resources and Projects (at the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), who shall oversee:

a- Resources and Information Directorate.

b- Projects and Facilities Directorate.

4- The Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Marketing and Business Development (at the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), who shall oversee:

a- Marketing and Promotion Directorate.

b- Business Development and Licensing Directorate.

Article II

Decree (64) of 2021 restructuring the BACA shall be abrogated.

Article III

The Tourism Minister shall implement the provisions of this decree, which takes effect upon its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
