Watch – The occupation forces storm Ramallah and close Al Jazeera office

Ramallah – Ma’an – Israeli occupation forces stormed Al Jazeera’s office in Ramallah and ordered it to be closed for 45 days under a military order.

The occupation forces confiscated all the equipment and documents in the office, prevented the employees from using their cars, and stopped the channel’s broadcast.

According to Al Jazeera, the occupation forces surrounded the building that houses Al Jazeera’s office in Ramallah and stormed it after blowing up the building’s iron door.

The scenes broadcast by Al Jazeera showed heavily armed occupation soldiers storming the Al Jazeera office and handing over a military order to close the office for 45 days to the office director, Walid Al-Omari.

The occupation forces proceeded to confiscate all the equipment and documents in the Al Jazeera office after storming and closing it, and sent trucks to confiscate and remove the filming and broadcasting equipment and documents from the channel’s office.

The occupation forces also prevented Al Jazeera’s Ramallah crew
, colleagues Walid Al Omari and Guevara Al Badri, from using their cars, and also prevented Al Omari and Badri from working on the street in Ramallah and stopped the channel’s broadcast.

The occupation forces fired tear gas bombs around the besieged Al Jazeera office and Al Manara roundabout.

The Israeli Army Radio reported that it was decided to close Al Jazeera’s office in Ramallah because “its broadcasts harm state security,” they said.
