WhatsApp Tests Users’ Engagement in Video, Audio Calls

Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly launching an enhanced feature on its Windows desktop app, allowing users to engage in video and audio calls with up to 32 individuals.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has begun the gradual release of a feature that allows video calling for up to 32 individuals. Currently, this capability is only accessible to beta testers, who must install the beta update 2.23.24.1.0 to utilize it.

In the latest WhatsApp beta v2.23.15.14 for Android, you can initiate a voice or video call with up to 15 people at once. The total group call limit on the platform remains unchanged at 32, so if there are more than 15 participants, you’ll have to add them manually after the call starts. .
