Two Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Occupation’s Airstrike on Al Nuseirat Refugee Camp

Gaza City: Two Palestinians were martyred, and several others were wounded as the Israeli occupying forces launched fresh strikes on various areas across the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli drone targeted the Al Zahraa area, north of Al Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of two civilians and the injury of several others. Simultaneously, Israeli fighter jets bombarded a home in Jabalia Al Balad in northern Gaza, leaving several civilians with varying injuries, local sources reported.

The sources further indicated that Israeli artillery shelled multiple homes in the vicinity of Abu Hawwa area in Abasan Al Kabira, in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, an Israeli airstrike targeted a mosque in the Al Shuja’iya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

The Israeli occupying forces have waged a relentless war of annihilation on the Gaza Strip since the onset of the war on Oct. 7, 2023, claiming the lives of 53,977 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring another 122,966, according to figures that remain incomplete.

Meanwhile, a substantial number of victims are still trapped under the rubble and along roadways, beyond the reach of emergency and civil defense rescuers.
