Doha: Qatar University (QU) hosted the Employer Recognition Ceremony 2025 to honor 120 partner organizations from across Qatar’s public and private sectors. The annual event recognizes the essential role these organizations play in enriching QU students’ academic and professional journeys by offering academic sponsorships, field training opportunities, and employment pathways.
According to Qatar News Agency, this annual ceremony reflects QU’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships that support national talent development and align with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
Speaking at the event, President of QU Dr. Omar AlAnsari, said: “We are pleased to celebrate the organizations that form a core pillar of Qatar’s education and training ecosystem and serve as active partners in preparing national talent capable of contributing to the country’s development. Your collaboration with QU, whether by offering field training, academic sponsorship, or employment, demonstrates our shared commitment to empowering our students and graduates with confidence and competence as they enter the labor market.”
He added, “QU believes that developing national capacities requires strong collaboration between academic institutions and industry partners. We are proud to witness the impact of this cooperation in the success stories of our graduates. We value your continuous partnership and look forward to expanding our joint efforts in ways that benefit society and enrich the landscape of education and development.”
For her part, Director of the Career Development Center Gadeer Zainal, stated: “The Employer Recognition Ceremony marks the culmination of a year filled with impactful partnerships that significantly supported QU students and graduates by providing diverse opportunities for growth and distinction. At the Career Development Center, we are proud of these collaborations and look forward to strengthening and expanding them to enhance the quality of our programs and meet the aspirations of our students and alumni.”
