According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Raya highlighted the Shura Council's integral role in Qatar's development under the headline "Shura Council: A Key Partner in Qatar's Development." The publication stressed that the Council's permanent committees are essential to its legislative and oversight functions, transforming ideas into actionable initiatives that align with Qatar National Vision 2030. These committees scrutinize draft laws and consult with relevant authorities and experts, ensuring legislation reflects society's evolving needs. Their work spans various areas, including family affairs, health, education, economy, security, environment, and legislation, bolstering institutional performance.
Al-Raya also pointed out the intensive efforts during the Council's recent session, noting that the true measure of parliamentary performance lies in the substantive discussions and comprehensive reports produced by its committees.
