Doha, In their editorials issued Saturday, Qatari newspapers commended the tireless Qatari diplomatic efforts that are racing against time to stop the aggression against Gaza, reduce the escalation, and bring in urgent humanitarian aid, based on the states firm and continuous support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, especially his right to establish an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the basis of the two-state solution.

The newspapers stressed that Qatar pay exceptional attention to the dangerous developments resulting from the aggression against Gaza and the necessity of uniting and intensifying efforts to stop this war, highlighting in this context the talks of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in Cairo with his brother HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and in Riyadh with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to stop this war and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian brothers, especially after the witness of the deliberated targeting of defenseless civilians, as the death toll from Israeli raids rose to 11,078 Palestinian martyrs, and more than 27,000 others were injured.

Under the title "HH the Amir: Intensive efforts to stop the war", Al-Sharq newspaper said that since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression on the 7th of last October against the Gaza Strip, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has continued intensive efforts to stop the brutal war on the Gaza Strip, which has so far claimed the lives of more than 11 thousand martyrs so far, most of whom are children and women, adding that His Highness visited Riyadh and Cairo yesterday, and discussed with his brother HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and with his brother HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi the joint efforts to stop the aggression against Gaza, reduce the escalation, and bring in urgent humanitarian aid, in a way that guarantees the safety of civilians and contributes to reducing tensions in the region.

The newspaper added that HH the Amir is participating, with his brothers, leaders of Arab and Islamic countries, in the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit, scheduled to be held today in the city of Riyadh.

Al-Sharq noted the intense diplomatic movement led by His Highness, as His Highness visited three important Arab capitals within two days within the framework of the efforts made by the Qatari leadership with brothers and friends in the region and the world to mobilize support in order to advance efforts aimed at stopping the aggression against Gaza, protecting civilians, urgently introducing aid to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people, and making every effort that would support security and stability in the region.

It concluded by emphasizing that the Arab and Islamic peoples are looking forward to the results of this summit and the role that leaders should play in the efforts made to put an end to Israeli criminality and its flagrant violations of international humanitarian law in its open war against our Palestinian brothers.

In turn, Al-Watan newspaper said in its editorial titled "Intense Qatari movements" that Qatari movements are racing against time to stop the aggression against Gaza, reduce the escalation, and bring in urgent humanitarian aid, all based on steadfast and continuous support for the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, especially his right to establish an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the basis of the two-state solution.

Al-Watan pointed out that the State of Qatar has always warned that the violations against the Palestinian people, their lands and their sanctities not only undermine reaching a just solution to the Palestinian issue, but also threaten the security of the region, as well as international security and peace.

The newspaper concluded it editorial by emphasizing the exceptional interest that Qatar attaches to the developments resulting from the aggression against Gaza and the necessity of uniting and intensifying efforts to stop this war and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian brothers, especially after the deliberated targeting of defenseless civilians, where the death toll of the Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since October 7 rose to 11,078 Palestinian martyrs, and more than 27,000 others were injured, most of these people are no longer able to receive appropriate treatment due to the deliberate targeting of the health system.
