Doha: Qatar debate Center, a part of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, has successfully organized the second panel of Qatar debates, focusing on the theme “From Dream to Reality: Qatar’s Entrepreneurs Journey.” The event was moderated by Dana Al Naimah, Co-Founder of Nuzul Interior Design, and attracted numerous individuals interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. The panel provided a platform for exchanging ideas and discussions centered on the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and the success stories that shape the future of the national economy.
According to Qatar News Agency, the panel included notable entrepreneurs such as Maryam Al Khaleefa, founder of the jewelry brand Jemma, who emphasized that jewelry transcends decoration by encapsulating identity and culture. Hamda Al Hitmi, founder of the Autism Parents Platform, highlighted the role of entrepreneurship in raising awareness and creating integrated spaces that strengthen societal bonds. Ahmed Al Sumaiti, Co-founder and CEO of Alfaytri Trading and Maintenance Company and founder of Mechanic, discussed the importance of integrating engineering with entrepreneurship to foster practical innovations across various sectors.
Mohammed Al Delaimi, founder and managing director of SkipCash and co-founder of PayLater, addressed the necessity of digital transformation in enhancing performance and cost-efficiency, ultimately contributing to business growth. Abdullah Al Mana, founder of a local cafe chain, emphasized that every venture begins with a dream and evolves into a global symbol through determination.
The panel witnessed active participation from the attendees, who inquired about the process of transforming ideas into successful entrepreneurial ventures. Participants emphasized the importance of believing in one’s ideas, taking incremental steps, learning from others’ experiences, and understanding local market needs. They also underscored the significance of establishing strong professional relationships and recognizing failure as an integral part of the entrepreneurial journey.
As the panel concluded, Abdulrahman Al Subaie, Director of Programs at QatarDebate, highlighted the importance of investing in youth as a means to secure Qatar’s future. He emphasized providing a supportive environment for young people’s ideas and ambitions to foster a knowledge-based economy.
