Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index started Wednesday's trading session on a positive note, climbing by 2.39%. The index gained 229.97 points from the previous session's close, reaching 9,844 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the increase was supported by gains across all sectors. The Industrials sector led with a rise of 3.38%, followed by Real Estate at 3.17%, Banks and Financial Services at 2.03%, Telecoms at 1.99%, Transportation at 1.97%, Consumer Goods and Services at 1.32%, and Insurance at 0.87%.
By 1000 am, QSE had recorded 7,370 transactions worth QR 197.607 million, with a total of 105.725 million shares traded.
