Doha: Local and international organizations are showcasing cutting-edge AI technologies at the accompanying exhibition of the second World Summit AI Qatar 2025, currently underway in Doha. The Qatar Pavilion serves as a national platform presenting a range of AI-powered projects from government entities, alongside startups offering digital solutions across education, healthcare, energy, and public services.
According to Qatar News Agency, the pavilion also highlights Qatar’s GovAI Program, led by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), which provides a national framework to accelerate the adoption of smart technologies across government agencies. The program emphasizes international partnerships and practical solutions designed to enhance public services and support the country’s digital transformation.
Visitors to the pavilion can explore nearly 20 advanced AI projects from more than 14 government entities. Those included the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, and Ministries of MCIT, Commerce and Industry, Health, Education, Municipality, Endowments and Islamic Affairs, as well as government agencies such as Public Works Authority, Hamad Medical Corporation, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Museums, Qatar News Agency, Al Jazeera Media Network, and Qatar Post.
In addition, more than 24 MCIT-supported startups are presenting their innovative digital solutions to the public and international partners, offering insights into Qatar’s growing AI ecosystem and its drive to integrate artificial intelligence into a wide range of sectors.
The exhibition underscores Qatar’s commitment to fostering innovation, promoting collaboration between government and private sectors, and positioning the country as a regional hub for AI development.
