Qatar National Bank Releases Updated Deposit Rates for Various Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced the latest deposit rates for multiple currencies as issued on Tuesday. The new rates reflect the bank’s adjustments across various time frames and currencies.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD start at 3.77221% for a one-month term and decrease to 3.51340% for a twelve-month term. In comparison, the Japanese Yen (JPY) rates range from 0.45000% for both one and two months, increasing to 0.64000% for a twelve-month term. The Swiss Franc (CHF) shows a negative interest rate trend, with rates starting at -0.28000% for one month and slightly improving to -0.06000% for a twelve-month term.

The British Pound (GBP) deposit rates commence at 3.88000% for one month, peaking at 4.04000% for twelve months. Meanwhile, rates for the Qatari Riyal (QAR) begin at 4.30000% for a one-month period, gradually decreasing to 3.87500% for a twelve-month period. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) maintains a relatively steady rate, starting at 4.75000% for one month and decreasing slightly to 4.55000% for twelve months.

The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) deposit rates increase from 2.05000% for one month to 3.15000% for twelve months, while the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) maintains a consistent rate of 4.50000% for one to six months before dropping to 4.00000% for a twelve-month term.
