Qatar Charity (QC) honored the youth volunteer initiatives declared winners in the fourth season of the ‘Initiatives Challenge’ program, which was launched by Qatar Charity during the holy month of Ramadan. The winners were honored in appreciation of their efforts and in recognition of their voluntary role.
Some 11 initiatives participated in this edition of the ‘Initiatives Challenge’, of which 8 initiatives completed the challenge, and the three of them were declared winners after the evaluation.
Speaking at the beginning of the ceremony, CEO’s Assistant for the Programs and Community Development sector at Qatar Charity Faisal Rashid Al Fehaida, congratulated the volunteers of the three winning teams and other participating initiatives, expressing the pride of Qatar Charity and ‘Ezdehar’ – an initiatives and volunteering incubator, in their distinguished volunteer efforts to serve their community in several vital and important fields He also thanked and appreciated the mentors of the initiatives for their continuous efforts in directing and supporting the initiatives, and the judges for their efforts in evaluating the activities of the initiatives according to specific professional and methodological criteria, as well as the supervisors of the program. He considered that the success of the program came due to cooperation of all He expressed his hope that this program and other programs would contribute to motivating young people to contribute to serving community and development issues, spreading awareness, paying attention to humanitarian issues, feeling the suffering of others, and providing them with the necessary aid and support.
It worth mentioning that Qatar Charity is keen to support community initiatives that aim to contributing to achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the sustainable development and achieving community development in Qatar.
