Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher as All Share Index Gains

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday with the All Share Index gaining 52.41 points to reach 8,649.41 points, marking an increase of 0.61 percent. As many as 423.6 million shares valued at KWD 85.3 million (roughly USD 260.16 million) were traded via 22,469 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index increased by 35.33 points to reach 7,674.87 points, down by 0.46 percent. This was achieved through 280.2 million shares executed via 15,815 transactions valued at KWD 36.4 million (roughly USD 111 million).

The Premier Market Index saw a gain of 59.27 points, reaching 9,319.95 points, up by 0.64 percent. This performance was driven by 143.4 million shares, transacted through 6,654 transactions with a total value of KWD 48.9 million (roughly USD 149.14 million).

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index increased by 39.39 points to 7,631.90 points, marking an increase of 0.52 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 170.7 million shares executed in 7,895 deals at a value of KWD 23.2 million (roughly USD 70.7 million).
