Al wakrah: The third edition of the International Circus Show 'Beyond Reality' kicked off in Al Wakrah Old Souq on Saturday. It is organized by the Private Engineering Office's celebrations committee.According to Qatar News Agency, General Supervisor of the International Circus Khalid Al Suwaidi stated that the timing of this year's event was carefully chosen to coincide with the start of the school holidays and the influx of visitors to Qatar for the Arab Cup. This strategic timing aims to attract those eager to explore Qatar's tourist and entertainment attractions, which has been reflected in the attendance figures and ticket sales.Al Suwaidi mentioned that this year's edition stands out from previous ones, showcasing the organizing committee's dedication to offering a fresh experience for the public each season. This year's circus features a group of approximately seven animals, including tigers and leopards, alongside a selection of world-class acts, notably the dog shows and magic acts.The event fe atures around nine diverse shows, each lasting about an hour and fifteen minutes. These performances are described as exciting and engaging, catering to all family members, and include acts being performed for the first time in Qatar. A large turnout is anticipated for this edition.Al Suwaidi also noted that hosting the circus in Al Wakrah Old Souq is part of the organizing committee's strategy to diversify event locations outside Doha.
