Inaugural Doha International Music and Marching Festival Concludes at Katara

Doha: The first edition of the Doha International Music and Dance Festival, also known as Doha Tattoo, concluded at Katara Cultural Village. The event took place under the patronage of HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. It was attended by HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani, and HE Federal Minister of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany Alexander Dobrindt, along with several senior officers and officials.

According to Qatar News Agency, the participating military bands delivered performances that were well-received by the audience. Bands from Qatar joined forces with those from several brotherly and friendly nations. The Qatari bands included those from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard, and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya).

International participants included military bands from the Sultanate of Oman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Turkiye, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. These performances were inspired by the traditions of international "Tattoo" festivals, celebrating rhythm, culture, and unity. The festival provided a platform for cultural exchange and showcased diverse experiences, all within the framework of organized military displays.
