His Majesty Kin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree (85) of 2023, restructuring the Board of Directors of the National Space Science Agency (NSSA), based on a proposal by the Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

According to the Decree, NSSA Board of Directors shall be chaired by Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi, and comprise the following members:

1-Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa

2- Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa

3- President of the University of Bahrain

4- Colonel Ahmed Khalifa Al Mannai

5- Colonel Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Ruwaie

6- Colonel Dr. Miteb Khamis Jassim Al-Tamimi.

NSSA board members shall serve for a four-year term.

The decree shall take immediate effect, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
