Doha: HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HE President of the Republic of Suriname Jennifer Geerlings-Simons, on the death of former President Chandrikapersad Santokhi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the expression of sympathy was extended following the passing of Chandrikapersad Santokhi, who served as a former president of Suriname. Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to President Geerlings-Simons as well as to the people of Suriname during this period of mourning.
