Manama, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, has directed to hold the 2024 edition of the “Strongest Bahraini Man” and the “Strongest GCC Man” championships, under the theme “Be a Beast”, in March 2024, within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Strength Week.
On the occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad instructed the organising committee to prepare well for the event to ensure its continued success.
His Highness added that the “Strongest Bahraini Man” and the “Strongest GCC Man” championships are among the important sporting events hosted by the kingdom, as they attract many fans and enjoy wider media coverage, which requires distinguished preparations to ensure their success.
HH Shaikh Khalid pointed out that the championships aim to provide a platform to discover the capabilities and potentials of young people and instill many values among them, such as endurance, toughness and physical strength, as these qualities have a great impact on youngsters.
His Highness wished all participants from Bahrain and other GCC countries every success.
Registration for the Strength Week 2024 will be open starting from Sunday, October 15, via the website: hhsk.bh.
