Doha: The Empowerment and Elderly Care Center "Ehsan," one of the centers under the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has concluded its summer program, organized by the Council of Elders in cooperation with several youth centers.

According to Qatar News Agency, the program aimed to strengthen intergenerational communication, benefit from the experiences of older people, and promote their active role in society. It featured a range of cultural, social, awareness, and recreational activities that brought together older people and younger generations, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, values, and social heritage.

The center highlighted the importance of such initiatives in empowering older people and strengthening their community participation. It praised its collaboration with youth centers in expanding community initiatives and creating new opportunities for joint programs.
