Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi highlighted the necessity of achieving a peaceful settlement and a comprehensive agreement between the United States and Iran during a phone call with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. This agreement, he emphasized, would aid in reducing tensions, preventing conflict escalation, and ensuring the security and sovereignty of Arab nations, thereby contributing to regional stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, President El Sisi discussed Egypt's active efforts, in collaboration with mediators, to enforce the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid. He urged the international community and European nations to fulfill their responsibilities by supporting these initiatives and alleviating the humanitarian distress faced by the residents of Gaza.

Prime Minister Mitsotakis, in his response, stressed the significance of adopting political and peaceful solutions to address crises. He reiterated his government's dedication to maintaining ongoing coordination and dialogue with Egypt on regional and international matters of shared interest.
