Doha: Weather, inshore, until 6:00 am on Friday will be relatively cold and scattered clouds to partly cloudy at places later, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain that may be thundery later, the report added, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be southeasterly at a speed of 03 to 12 knots, becoming variable later. Offshore, it will be mainly southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 07 to 15 knots, gusting to 25 knots with thundery rain. Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 5 feet with thundery rain, while offshore will be 2 to 4 feet surging to 8 feet with thundery rain. Visibility inshore will be 04 to 09 kilometers, and offshore visibility will also be 04 to 09/03 kilometers or less with thundery rain.
The report also provided tide and temperature forecasts for various locations: Doha is expected to have high tides at 01:44 and 09:58, with low tides at 03:01 and 18:02 and temperatures ranging from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius. Mesaieed will see temperatures between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius. Wakrah will have temperatures ranging from 22 to 27 degrees Celsius. Al Khor, Ruwais, Dukhan, and Abu Samra will also experience varying tidal patterns and temperatures.
Sunrise is expected at 06:10 LT and sunset at 16:45 LT, according to the Qatar News Agency.
