Fez: The death toll from the collapse of two adjacent buildings in the Moroccan city of Fez has risen to 22, with 16 injured. Moroccan judicial authorities confirmed that police in the Fez region, under the supervision of the public prosecutor, have launched an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident.
According to Qatar News Agency, two buildings collapsed Tuesday night. The first was unoccupied, while the second was hosting a party. Authorities immediately began search and rescue operations and took all necessary measures, including securing the area around the buildings and evacuating residents of neighboring houses as a precaution to ensure public safety.
