Lebanon: Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health announced Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 3,089, with 9,397 others injured since March 2.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry's daily report revealed that the fatalities include 116 healthcare workers, and 263 personnel in the health sector have been wounded. The ongoing conflict has taken a severe toll on the medical community, highlighting the dire situation in the region.
Despite the ceasefire that took effect on April 16 and was extended last Friday for an additional 45 days, Israeli entity attacks on southern Lebanon persist. The continued aggression underscores the challenges in implementing and maintaining peace in the area, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
