Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 47,161

Gaza: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 47,161, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on Oct. 7, 2023.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources reported Wednesday that the number of injuries has escalated to 111,166 since the beginning of the aggression, with thousands of victims still trapped under the rubble.

The sources revealed that 54 martyrs were brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, 53 of whom had their bodies recovered, and one citizen succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, 19 injuries were registered at hospitals as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.

The sources further noted that a significant number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to face challenges in reaching them.
