Youth Affairs Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Support and Initiatives Saud Yusuf Al Hiddi received Kuwait-based Arab Planning Institute (API) Director General Dr. Bader Othman Malallah and expert Dr. Faisal Al Manawer.

Al Hiddi hailed long standing relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, commended the role of the institute which serves coming strategies and goals and contributes to honing youth skills.

He was briefed about API’s goals and role in supporting economic, social and youth development efforts and building national competences in Arab countries.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects of joint cooperation to promote initiatives that contributed to empowering youth.

Al Hiddi highlighted the ministry’s strategy aimed to hone skills and tap into budding youth talents in different fields and motivating youngsters who represent an active player in supporting development, innovation and competitiveness.

Dr. Malallah praised Bahrain’s youth strides and outstanding achievements, stressing the institute’s commitment to stepping up cooperation with the ministry.
