Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2019 begins

DOHA, The official competitions of the prestigious Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2019 began at the Doha Golf Club on Thursday.

The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2019 brings together 144 golfers, including top world names.

Adria Arnaus of Spain and Justin Walters of South Africa led the standings of the event in its 22nd edition.

Eight other players tied in the third place including Justin Harding, George Coetzee, Hugo Leon, Mike Lorenzo-Vera, Nicolas Colsaerts, Bradley Dredge and Richie Ramsay.

Over the recent years, the prestigious event had brought together elite professional golfers worldwide , among them the South Korean Wan Jeung-hun won Commercial Bank Qatar Masters title in 2017.

Since 1998 the prestigious Qatar Masters golf tournament has been hosted by Doha Golf Club. The annual tournament is sponsored by The Commercial Bank (Q.S.C.) and is held at the beginning of each year as part of The European Tour.

Many of the world's top golfers compete on Doha Golf Club's unique and challenging desert-type Championship Course, which has proven to be one of the longest par 72 courses on the tour.
