Zaporizhzhia:London British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the importance of increasing pressure on Russia during a phone call on Saturday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two leaders have agreed to meet in person in the coming days. During their conversation, Burnham emphasized that the United Kingdom would continue to tighten sanctions on Russia and implement further measures to limit the capabilities of the Russian war machine.

The discussion between the leaders followed a Russian attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia earlier that day, which resulted in the deaths of 20 people, including three children.
