BIPA Director General honored by Italian Republic

Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), member of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) received the Order of the Star of Italy, awarded by the President of the Italian Republic, in recognition of her efforts to further strengthen friendship ties between Bahrain and Italy.

Paola Amadi, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, presented Dr. Shaikha Rana with the Order of the Star of Italy.

Dr. Shaikha Rana expressed her appreciation for receiving this recognition, commending the Bahraini-Italian ties and their continuous development in various sectors.

She expressed appreciation for the Italian Republic and noted the ambassador’s efforts and her efforts to further enhance the bilateral ties.

The ambassador expressed her pleasure to hand Dr. Shaikha Rana the Order of the Star of Italy on behalf of President Sergio Mattarella of Italy and highlighted the efforts made by Dr. Shaikh Rana during her tenure in the Foreign Ministry and Higher Education Council (HEC).

Ambassador Amadi affirmed that Dr. Shaikha Rana’s efforts contributed to the diversification and development of means of cooperation and joint work between the two countries in the diplomatic, political, economic, and educational fields, as well as teaching the Italian language in Bahrain, and wished her further success.

The Order of the Star of Italy is granted by the Italian Republic to personalities who have an influential and prominent role in strengthening relations of cooperation and friendship with their country.
