Algerian, Iranian Presidents Discuss Developments in Palestinian Territories

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune discussed Sunday, in a phone call, with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and the ongoing aggression there, especially in the occupied West Bank and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the flagrant desecration and provocation it is exposed to by the Israeli occupation forces.

In a statement, the Algerian presidency stated that Tebboune and Raisi discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and they agreed to strengthen them in the political and economic fields, in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples.

For his part, the Iranian President said, during the call, that Iran and Algeria have close and shared positions on regional and global issues, especially the question of Palestine and the rights of its oppressed people.
