Managing Director of Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disability Laalei Abualfain stressed that promoting and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities is at the forefront of the priorities of the State of Qatar, as the State spares no effort to integrate the issues and needs of persons with disabilities into all its policies and programmes, and works permanently to monitor and follow up on their implementation.
The Managing Director of the Shafallah Center, in her speech during the 2023 graduation ceremony for members of the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, said that supporting and empowering them represents an integral pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030, out of her belief in the importance of protecting human rights in general and the rights of persons with disabilities in particular.
She added that the center will work hard to provide all support and advice and strive to enhance job opportunities and career advancement for people with disabilities in the labor market, as well as providing assistance in finding and obtaining work, in cooperation with various ministries and state institutions. She also said that the Shafallah Center is always proud of the achievements of its groups of graduates to build society and complete the process of construction and development. She called on graduates to continue giving and creativity to integrate into society and participate positively in building the nation, as they are the source of inspiration, determination, persistence, challenge, and the ability to give without limits.
