9 Injured after Car Plows into Pedestrians in Southwestern Japan

Tokyo, Nine people were injured including a high school after a minicar plowed into a group of pedestrians on a roadside in Fukuoka Prefecture, southwestern Japan on Tuesday morning.

The prefectural police arrested the driver, 66-year-old. He was released for treatment after being arrested, according to Japan’s News Agency (KYODO).

Six other high school students were also treated at hospital as well as an adult male.

On November 16, the Japanese police arrested a man after crashing a car into a barricade near the Israeli embassy in Tokyo.
