New york: Major stock indices on the US Wall Street opened higher on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened with a rise of 38.2 points, or 0.08 percent, reaching 46,056.55 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the S and P 500 index gained 26.5 points, or 0.40 percent, to reach 6,626.85 points. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite added 177.8 points, or 0.80 percent, reaching 22,439.111 points.
