US President Trump Announces Progress in US-Iran Agreement Negotiations

Washington: US President Donald Trump announced that an agreement between the United States and Iran has been largely negotiated, noting that the two sides are discussing the final wording and details of the anticipated deal.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a post on Truth Social platform, Trump stated that most of the agreement's provisions have been negotiated, pending the completion of final arrangements between the United States, Iran, and several Middle Eastern countries.

He added that the agreement includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz, along with other undisclosed elements, and affirmed that the final details will be announced soon.

In remarks to US media outlets, Trump said that Washington and Tehran are "much closer" to reaching an agreement, but also described the situation as a "solid 50/50" chance between reaching a "good deal" or returning to military escalation.
