United Development Company Reports QAR 115m Second-Quarter Net Profit

Doha: United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of both The Pearl Island and Gewan Island, reported a net profit of QAR 115 million for the second quarter of 2026.

According to Qatar News Agency, the company announced that it generated revenues of QAR 885 million during the quarter, with a net profit attributable to shareholders amounting to QAR 119 million. Basic earnings per share were reported at QAR 0.034.

UDC Chairman Ahmed bin Ali Al Hammadi commented on the results, noting that the company made progress in its development and commercial activities during the second quarter. He highlighted UDC's commitment to implementing strategic projects aimed at supporting future growth and maintaining strong operational performance. This approach, he stated, enhances the appeal of The Pearl Island and Gewan Island as prime destinations for residential living, investment, and upscale lifestyles.
