Ukraine Announces It Shot Down 75 Out of 97 Russian Drones

Kyiv: Ukraine's air defenses announced that their forces managed to shoot down 75 out of 97 Russian drones Saturday night.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ukrainian News Agency (Ukrinform) reported that Ukrainian forces intercepted 75 Russian drones that targeted various regions across Ukraine.

Preliminary data indicates several strikes by 19 unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded at eight locations, in addition to drone debris falling at one site. Several drones are still flying in Ukrainian airspace, according to Ukrinform.

Ukraine and Russia have exchanged drone and missile strikes since the conflict began in February 2022, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure. Ground battles continue alongside US-led efforts to broker a ceasefire between the two sides.
