At least two people were injured in a Russian drone attack on southern parts of the Odesa region on Sunday, the Ukrainian authorities said.
According to Ukraine’s South Military Command, Russia launched a 3 1/2-hour drone attack targeting infrastructure of ports in the region, and hit Danube River port infrastructure which is used for exporting grain.
Earlier, the Command announced that its air defense systems shot down 22 of the 25 drones that Russia launched on the Odesa region in the early hours of Sunday.
The Danube has become Ukraines main route for exporting grain since the collapse of a UN-brokered deal in July that had allowed Kyiv to ship its grain via the Black Sea.
