Abu Dhabi: During their phone call on Sunday, HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed the latest updates in the Middle East.
According to Qatar News Agency, the call addressed the serious repercussions of the recent attacks against Iran on regional security and stability. The discussion included ongoing intensive consultations aimed at calming the situation and de-escalating in a way that contributes to restoring security and stability in the region.
Both leaders affirmed that these regional tensions could have serious consequences both regionally and internationally. They urged all parties to apply wisdom, prioritize dialogue and peaceful solutions, exercise maximum restraint, and avoid further escalation.
