Gaza city: Two Palestinians, including a child, were killed Monday by Israeli fire, in yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that a child was killed by Israeli army fire in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Another Palestinian was killed by Israeli drone fire in the Atatra area, north of the Gaza Strip.
Earlier today, Palestinian medical sources announced the death of a Palestinian man from Israeli drone fire in the town of Beit Lahia, northwest of the Strip.
The total number of Palestinians killed and wounded since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on Oct. 11 has reached 266, with 635 injured.
The death toll in Gaza since the start of the occupation’s aggression on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 69,483, the majority of whom are children and women. The number of injuries has reached 170,706, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, with ambulance and rescue teams unable to reach them.
