Turkiye, Libya Hold Talks on Cooperation in Oil, Gas Sector

Ankara: Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar met on Sunday with his Libyan counterpart Khalifa Abdel Sadig during his visit to Turkiye. Both sides underscored the importance of reinforcing bilateral cooperation and advancing strategic projects in a variety of energy areas in support of energy security and to help achieve sustainable development at the regional level.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening ties in the oil and gas sectors. The meeting aimed to foster collaboration that could lead to significant developments in energy security and sustainable growth for both nations. The ministers expressed a mutual interest in exploring opportunities that would benefit the region's energy landscape.
