Turkish President Vows Continued Support for Syria, Push to End Israeli Occupation Genocide in Gaza

Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that Turkiye will continue to support Syria in its pursuit of stability, stressing that Ankara seeks peace and prosperity in Syria just as it does within its own borders. In a speech delivered on Tuesday, Erdogan stated that Turkiye will always stand by its Syrian brothers whenever needed and will fulfill all its responsibilities toward its neighbor Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, President Erdogan also addressed the ongoing situation in Gaza, expressing Turkiye’s commitment to discussing ways to end the Israeli genocide there. These discussions are expected to take place with world leaders during the upcoming Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The President emphasized the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, which he highlighted in Eid al-Fitr calls with several world leaders, warning that continued escalation and expansionist ambitions will benefit no one.
