Turkish President Discusses Regional, Global Issues with Latvian Leader, Spanish PM

Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held separate telephone conversations with Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez and Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics to discuss bilateral relations and issues of mutual regional and international concern.

According to Qatar News Agency, during his call with Sanchez on Tuesday, Erdogan reviewed ties between Turkiye and Spain, along with global and regional developments. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and addressing ongoing international challenges that affect both nations.

In a separate conversation with Rinkevics, the Turkish president discussed shared regional challenges and bilateral cooperation. Erdogan also expressed Turkiye's willingness to further strengthen cooperation with Latvia across various fields, particularly in the defense industry. The call emphasized the importance of collaboration in ensuring regional stability and security.
