Three Palestinian were Monday killed and others were injured in a bombing by Israeli occupation warplanes south of Gaza City, amid a ground incursion by the occupation army southwest of the city.
The occupation warplanes bombed a residential apartment near the industrial junction south of Gaza City, killing two citizens and wounding five others, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted local sources as saying.
They added that the occupation aircraft bombed a house near south of Gaza City, killing a citizen and wounding seven others.
The occupation forces suddenly entered large areas southwest of Gaza City under heavy fire cover, targeting roads, homes and residential buildings, which led to a massive exodus of thousands of citizens from those areas towards the northwestern neighborhoods of the city.
Local sources reported that the occupation military vehicles suddenly broke into Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, the industrial and university area, and the southern outskirts of Rimal neighborhood, in conjunction with
heavy fire cover carried out by warplanes and artillery vehicles over these areas and their surroundings.
The raids targeted residential buildings, roads, and apartments, leading to the killing and injury of dozens of citizens in various areas of Gaza City, while rescue and ambulance crews were unable to move into the city to rescue the injured and recover the slain people due to the intensity of the bombing.
The occupation forces also targeted various areas of Gaza City with heavy smoke and gas bombs.
Eyewitnesses said that thousands of citizens were displaced from areas southwest of the city towards the northwest and spent the night on the streets without shelter.
The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip by land, sea and air, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 38,153 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 87,828 others, while thousands of victims remain under rubble and on the roads, where ambulance crews and Civil Defense cannot rea
ch them.
