Gaza: Three Palestinians, including a child, were injured on Wednesday in bombardment and gunfire by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that two civilians were wounded by artillery shelling from Israeli occupation forces on Bani Suhaila junction east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The sources noted that a child was also critically wounded by fire from Israeli military vehicles east of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the occupation army continued house-demolition operations, artillery shelling, and gunfire from military vehicles across the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, while its naval vessels opened fire on the shoreline of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced earlier today a surge in the toll of victims of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, raising the count to 70,369 fatalities and 171,069 injuries since Oct. 7, 2023.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli occupier came into effect on Oct. 11, following the withdrawal of occupation forces from populated sites and the start of returning displaced persons to northern Gaza, under the first phase of the US-led initiative to end the war on Gaza.
