Three Killed in Israeli Raid on Southern Lebanon

Three people were killed Monday in an Israeli raid targeting southern Lebanon.

Field sources reported that three civilians were killed when a car they were riding in was targeted on the (Khiam – Ibl al-Saqi) road with a drone missile.

The Israeli air force also raided several southern towns, including Tayr Harfa, Majdal Zun, Barish, Al-Halusiya, Yater, Al-Bayada, Qana, Al-Ramadiyeh, Beit Lif, Yater, Maarakeh, Al-Humairi, Deir Qanoun, Tayr Falsayeh, Al-Mansouri, Al-Khiam, Al-Balat, and Tayr Dibba.

The violent artillery shelling coincided with intensive air raids by warplanes on the outskirts of Alma al Shaab and Naqoura in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 2,083 dead and 9,869 injured.

Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 2023, but in recent days the Israeli entity has increased the pace of aerial and artillery bombardment in an unprecedented manner, and expanded the scope of
its targeting to extend to the capital, Beirut, which led to the killing and wounding of thousands of Lebanese, in addition to forcing more than a million people to flee their homes.
