At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Al-Maliki welcomed Ambassador Al-Sudairi to his country, Palestine, praising the depth of the deep-rooted historical and fraternal relations that bind the two brotherly countries, appreciating at the same time the sincere fraternal positions of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting and attributing the just and legitimate national rights of our people in all forums, especially the efforts made by The Kingdom made it on the sidelines of the work of the United Nations General Assembly at its 78th session in New York, and its pioneering role in bringing peace and stability to the region and serving the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, Prime Minister, His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Minister Al-Maliki considered this visit an important historical milestone for strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and opening more horizons for joint cooperation in all fields.
For his part, Al-Sudairi expressed his happiness in representing his country in the State of Palestine and in his quality in his country, Palestine, and saluted the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Palestinian people, indicating that he will make every effort to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. He also stressed the Kingdom’s historical, sincere, fraternal positions in support of the rights of the people.
