The raid continues.. The occupation army arrests more than 35 citizens from Beit Ummar

Hebron – Together – The Israeli occupation forces are still continuing their storming of the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and are conducting raids on citizens’ homes, during which they have arrested more than 35 citizens so far. The old mosque in the town was also stormed by an Israeli rabbi accompanying the occupation army. He performed Talmudic rituals inside the mosque.

In the details, the media activist in Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, explained that dozens of military vehicles and more than 200 Israeli soldiers stormed most of the town’s neighborhoods, and dozens of homes were raided, and the soldiers destroyed the furniture, possessions, and internal and external doors of these homes that were raided.

Awad added that the arrest campaign has so far resulted in the arrest of 35 citizens, including former prisoners and the elderly.

An occupation bulldozer also closed a number of main and secondary roads with dirt mounds and cement cubes, preventing citizens from moving, imposing a military c
ordon on Beit Ummar from all directions, confiscating dozens of illegal vehicles and an agricultural tractor, and forcing their owners to drive them to the ‘Kermei Tzur’ settlement.

The occupation soldiers had climbed onto the roofs of a number of houses in the town and threw stun grenades at citizens and forced shop owners to close them at gunpoint. They distributed leaflets threatening the residents of the town against continuing acts of resistance by young men to the occupation army and settlers.
